World Cooperative Monitor 2016

The 2016 edition of the World Cooperative Monitor marks the 5th edition of this annual research report and continues the analysis on how cooperatives pursue the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). As in precedent editions, it explores the economic and social impact of the largest cooperatives and mutuals worldwide, providing rankings of the Top 300, sector rankings, and employment data. These top 300 cooperative and mutual enterprises accounted for USD 2,533.1 billion in turnover with most of the enterprises operating in the insurance sector and agriculture sector. The report studies cooperatives worldwide from 63 countries.
